Name the win they actually made
Generic praise is easy to send and easy to forget. Mention the job, exam, move, performance, or habit they completed so the message shows that you noticed the work behind the announcement. A specific detail can make one sentence feel more personal than a paragraph of superlatives.
Keep the focus on their achievement. Do not turn congratulations into a comparison with your own news or a list of what they should do next. Let the person enjoy this moment before you ask about plans.
Match the size of the message to the size of the moment
Some wins need a loud celebration; others are private milestones that took a lot of effort. An exclamation mark can suit a new job, while a calm “I know how much that took” may fit a difficult personal goal. If you are unsure, be warm and specific rather than trying to sound impressive.
Avoid promising that everything will now be easy. A promotion can still be tiring, and finishing a course can still leave someone uncertain about what comes next. Congratulations can honour the present without writing the rest of their story for them.
Share it on an old-phone screen
Copy an example, replace the general detail with the one you know, and open the Full Talktime composer. Create a Direct Message link and share it through the chat or app you already use. The recipient opens the fictional handset in a browser and can Reply or Forward.
Full Talktime does not send a carrier SMS or use a real phone number. Direct Message links last three days. If you add emoji or another script, check the finished text in the SMS counter so it stays within one segment.
