Who we are
Full Talktime (“we”, “us”) is a web service at fulltalktime.com. It lets you write a short nostalgic SMS-style message, get a private link, and share that link with someone else. There are no accounts and no real phone network involved.
What this service is not
Full Talktime is not a mobile carrier, not WhatsApp or SMS delivery, and not end-to-end encrypted chat. Anyone with an unexpired link can open the message. We can read message text when needed for delivery, abuse response, and moderation.
Information we store
When you create a message, we store:
- the message text (web links are removed when the message is created);
- an optional short sender label, if you provide one;
- a random message ID used in the share link;
- basic technical fields needed to display the message (for example encoding length and handset theme);
- whether the message is an original, a reply, or a forward;
- creation and expiry times.
If someone reports a message, we store the report (message ID, optional reason, and time) so we can review it.
To limit spam and abuse we may briefly process a salted hash derived from the visitor’s IP address. We do not keep raw IP addresses for that purpose.
Information we do not collect
- phone numbers;
- email addresses from senders or recipients (unless you email us);
- address books or contacts;
- login accounts or passwords;
- payment card details;
- precise location.
How long we keep it
Messages are designed to expire after 3 days. After expiry they are no longer shown. We then delete expired message records in the normal course of maintenance.
If a message was reported, we may keep the report and the related message content for up to 7 days after the message expires, then delete that material.
Analytics
We use privacy-oriented product analytics (via our hosting provider, Cloudflare) to understand whether people create messages, open links, share, reply, or report. Those events use coarse categories and a one-way fingerprint of the message ID — not the public link, not the message text, and not your name.
Cloudflare may also collect aggregate traffic statistics for the website (for example page views and approximate device type). We do not use Google Analytics for this product.
Sharing and processors
We do not sell your message content. The service runs on Cloudflare infrastructure. Content you put in a message may be visible to anyone who receives the link while it is still valid, including if they forward it.
Children
Full Talktime is not directed at children under 13. Do not use it to collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
