How Anonymous Inbox Links Work on Full Talktime

One link for visitors, one link for you

Full Talktime’s Anonymous Inbox lets someone leave a short message through a link you share. You get a fictional SIM with a display number and an inbox on the old-phone interface. The number is not a real phone number and cannot be used to look up or message another person.

There are two links with different jobs. The public composer link is the one to share. Someone opens it, types one short message, and submits it to your inbox. The restore link is for you alone. It can restore access to your SIM on a device, so do not put it in your bio, Story, screenshots or group chats.

Treat the active public link as an invitation: anyone who receives it can use it, including someone it was passed on to. It is not a directory listing and there is no public search by FT Number.

How to collect your first message

1. Open Full Talktime and choose Get your SIM, or open Inbox if you already have one.
2. Save the restore link somewhere private when it is shown.
3. Copy the public composer link and share it with a short invitation.
4. Return to Inbox yourself to check for messages. Full Talktime does not send notifications.

If you want something more specific than “leave me a message,” choose one of these anonymous question ideas. Someone can answer with a song recommendation or a shared memory without needing to invent a conversation starter.

What anonymous means here

Anonymous inbox messages have no sender label. That does not mean they are end-to-end encrypted or invisible to the service operator. Full Talktime processes message text to deliver it and may access it for operations, moderation and abuse response. Avoid sending sensitive information.

Links are removed from submitted message text. The one-segment limit still applies, and using emoji or another script can change how much fits. The SMS counter shows how the count works.

Read the privacy policy for the current storage and access details. An anonymous interface is not a promise of absolute anonymity.

How long messages last, and how to stop replies

Anonymous inbox message bodies expire after seven days. Open the inbox while they are available if you want to read them. You can delete or report messages, pause the inbox, or replace the public composer link. Replacing that link makes the previous address unavailable, so remember to update wherever you shared it.

Keep the restore link separate from the public link throughout this process. Sharing a Story image is your choice; check the message for personal details before exporting or posting it.

Is this the same as a Direct Message link?

No. A Direct Message link opens a message you have already written and lets the reader choose Reply or Forward. It expires after three days. An Anonymous Inbox link opens a composer so visitors can write to your inbox, where bodies expire after seven days. Neither mode sends a carrier SMS or delivers to an entered phone number.
